ABOUT US John Bracegirdle has sold and distributed photographs throughout the world. His pictures have been used extensively in many countries for advertising as well as in books, posters, magazines and newspapers. His portfolio continues to grow. It comprises of several groups at present- travel - the essence of a country and its people as well as the very broad heading of the World About Us. This particular category and the various Wildlife groups originate from the time that John contributed photographs to the Planet Earth agency in London. 'Planet Earth' described the type of images that were required by this agency-the myriad aspects of nature and wildlife on our planet. A main requirement of this agency was that all pictures should be taken in the wild and John remains committed to this philosophy. He also markets a variety of his photographs via Getty Images. Born in Africa and living free with the wild animals around him, educated at school in Taunton, Somerset then Bristol and Edinburgh Universities to complete his degrees as a Veterinary Surgeon and Scientist, John combined this work with his involvement in photography over a period of twenty five years. He now concentrates on all aspects of photography and will do so for the years to come. His other occupations are the development of websites and all software associated with digital images. He also designs, builds and maintains computers.
